I was looking at the electoral maps of the past 6 elections earlier...
Both wins for Clinton and Obama were absolute runaways with the electoral college.
As for George Bush? He won 2000 by one 4pt state. **** New Hampshire. Going red. A DISGRACE to New England.
And Kerry would have won 2004 if he'd gotten either FL or OH.
I cannot. I never knew Bush's victories were so narrow (I knew about the FL controversy of '00, but if Gore had snatched any one other state it wouldn't have mattered). To think, the GOP have spent years obstructing a democratic president who had a much more impressive victory than their own guy. The absolute nerve.
I'm so glad we're not playing the tight and narrow game this year.
