She was being trashed hard during ARTPOP and everyone was rooting for her to fail.

No, that's not the truth at all. Again, she's headlining the halftime show at the Super Bowl. That's BIG.
This album is her first Pop album in 3 years after doing side projects, it's a completely different sound than what even her fans were expecting, etc.
She should've released this Friday
