You're in for such a treat. This will be fun and rewarding, so don't feel flustered or overwhelmed! I speak to people who tell me that they like and respect Madonna, but they don't listen to her music because she seems inaccessible—there's just too much there to discover. They're missing out! Yes, she's had a long and prolific career, but becoming well-versed in the discography won't be as difficult as it may seem.

That last part you mentioned is exactly what makes Madonna so wonderful. She has something to offer for pretty much anything you're feeling. Her thematic palette is so broad. And she has the most empowering catalog of almost any artist I've ever heard. No one else makes dancing and singing and getting up and doing your thinging sound so much like pure self-actualization
She's an artist that grows with you as well. There are the immediate songs that captured us all, then the songs that unfold and let you discover them over time. And there are songs you'll hear now and think "oh okay", then five or ten years from now you hear them and think "oh my God, I know exactly what she's talking about here."
