Who did Sam's styling? An Arizona Cardinals shirt really? She's a great singer but I don't think the song choice was the best. While Impossible showed off her vocals well, I imagine her as a cool indie pop girl like Lorde or Ryn Weaver.

I can't find Gifty's performance that's available in the US so I can't make judgement of her. I just know she's my favorite coming into this and she really blew me away with her performance of This Girl so I hope she keeps it up.

Two completely different situations. You're takling about Emily's chances of success in the real world. Simon changing her song choice will have absolutely no impact on that. You can't claim that it's what she would do outside of the show.

Whereas Freddy's boring song choice is why he's the second favorite to leave tonight...

It's not unheard of for the first show to have the one live performer. They have a lot to do tonight with the lifeline thing and the jukebox too, so it's not surprising.

I still don't get why you'd perform Barbie Girl. Like, everyone doesn't have to sing ballads but at least songs that show off your vocals like That's My Girl. It's very rare that a performance with little vocal show offs is classed as the performance of the night (except for Fleur's UF).
