His last era was huge, he headlined the superbowl this year, he's coming off from the biggest hit of the decade and one of the biggest of all time. It may be another slow-burner but it's still quite surprising
In case you're wondering about the Chainsmokers, they were on GameDay today and performed at Austin City Limits. It might have been one of those behind the big jump. Closer is truly the biggest song in the US since Hello. It's not Uptown Funk again, but I feel it's as big as See You Again.
