The teaser has already done a better job at connecting Power Rangers back to the GP than the series has done in the last 15 years.

No it hasn't. It literally has nothing to do with power rangers. it looks like an xmen movie. Why were they breathing underwater? The power rangers never were superhuman they were just 5 normal teens.

Yes sis because every "normal" teenager knows how to fight hand to hand combat and be on par in strength with evil minions from space.

What did you think sis? They were gonna hijack an episode straight from nickelodeon and put it on the big screen? PR needed to be reinvented and relatable to an audience that goes to the movies to watch films.

All I see so far are people my age (20s) and teenagers (which are the audiences they are going for) praising the teaser trailer. Looks like you lose.

They've always displayed pretty superhuman abilities even when not morphed though. The later and more recent series also has given them superhuman powers even when not morphed.

Hmmmm at first I got Twilight with Teen Wolf teas which is not good for a movie, I wish it wasn't that kind of dark, but it's okay, the second time I watched it I liked it better.
