The album sales are still less for ARTPOP even if you change the industry currency to match each other.
Stop talking in circles.
Receipts, or are you talking out of your arse like usual?

Anyway guys, my point is that ARTPOP selling two milli less than Circus when it was released fiveyears after isn't bad at all. Britney's situation was obviously more impressive because she was ten years into her career, but ARTPOP still sold a decent amount no matter how yall try to twist it. It was an underperformance for Gaga, I agree, but nothing more.
lemme spill some tea about fadga. She was all about pop music and catering to her fans for as long as it kept her successful, the MOMENT she saw that people were bored of her experiemntal yet commercial pop music, the moment the "lady gaga" brand is basically dead , she suddenly decided to screw the fans, who made her what she is and decides to seem "authentic" and make real music, like it was some sort of natural progression. No bitch, you only ran from regular pop music because you were flopping liking crazy, not because your artistic vision drove you to it. And while we are on the topic of her being fake af, she realized her costumes were a laughing stock so she decided to dress normally suddenly. So much for "i am like this all the time", lying ratty bitch . Monsters are also the worst
Never thought about her but Shakira would be great for the Superbowl
Memorable and great hits + stage presence + hot.
I agree. "Whenever, Wherever", "Underneath Your Clothes", "La Tortura", "Hips Don't Lie" + a Wyclef or Fuggees song, "Waka Waka". A flawless setlist, here for it!
Gays are very rare. It's not 10% like a lot of people think. It's from 1 -> 2.5%.
The highest demographic of gays is San Francisco with 15%.
Yeah, actual gay GAY men are quite rare. 1.5% of the population most likely. Bisexual men, or men who identify as straight but have some gay inclinations/urges that they often suppress, are probably closer to 10-15%. There's been a lot of studies about it recently, particularly in more liberal environments where there isn't as much pressure to say "totally straight" (like if they surveyed married family men).

So the rise in stats/percentages from Blackout to Circus and the decline in stats/percentages from BTW to AP is something to compare.
Welp...do what you do.
next we should compare Emancipation of mimi to Dangerous woman
Oh the robyn album. Come to think of it, Carly kind of decimated her when she went pop. The way no one ever heard from her again and shes out out like 3 albums
Yes, stans =/= fans. The people who bought Rebel Heart tickets and copies of the album were overwhelmingly women (and a lot brought their husbands/boyfriends along to the show of course, which is always the case with any female-oriented artist or film or whatever).
I think some gays here just don't want to admit that what they stan for is created for and catered to women. Gays, particularly the kind of gays that become pop stans, just tend to like music, films, TV shows, etc women like. At the end of the day we are NOT the priority for their teams.
Exactly! That's why AbdulGa pandering to gays with Born This Way doomed her career - she alienated her core fanbase.

10-15 seems so OUT THERE though. Out of every 100 people I know, only like 2 or 3 are in the sexual orientation minority.

Omg, I didn't know she put an album out, and I'm a semi stan
