Artists are not companies despite what labels say. Companies provide ppl with what they think will sell most, artists put out what they personally like and connect with. It is sometimes poorly received but if the artist fulfills their artistic vision then I'm sure the artist is satisfied.

Think of it this way. When you were a kid and you'd sit down to draw something.. did you draw something with the idea that millions of ppl will like it/want it or did you draw from the soul and draw something that you personally liked/think is pretty?
