Even ARTPOP, which is not a perfect album and widely criticized, is pretty good compared to what we have off Joanne so far. I lasted from 2008 until now. So sad for (almost) finally jumping the ship.
One thing I don't get about you guys "jumping ship"....every one of Gaga's albums is very different. You're literally gonna just jump ship because you don't like the direction of one album? The girl grew up doing theatre, singing jazz, being a fan of Britney, listening to Bruce Springsteen....she's bound to show a lot of variety throughout her career. Not every album from now on is gonna be like this. She likes to evolve and change.
Strange that I became a huge stan during ARTPOP era, and now enjoying her new sound and image a lot

Nothing is single worthy tho (which is not a bad thing since most of the time album track songs are better then singles).

This is the final straw for me in a rapid descent. The problems for me grow more apparent with each era.
I understand that too. The album wait in between album is pretty long so it gets tiring to wait and not get what you want, but literally she has 4 other POP albums you can listen to. If you're jumping ship because you don't like the direction of an album, you didn't really stan for the artist.
