What is she doing in dive bars and singing acoustic country songs like a one-hit wonder who got dropped back in 2001? Does she not know her fanbase? She's just alienating more and more people. Some will stay and she might be making new fans but I seriously can't imagine it's so much that is worth a major release.

I'm all for artists going out of their box musically or visually, however, this is just way too polarising from what she was. She didn't get her fans by singing acoustic songs as Stephanie back in 2006. She got them with Redone and pop music. She needs to get over herself, which I thought she learned by now. Another era where she hasn't.

I agree. This is probably why someone compared it to Gypsy, the acoustic versions are similar. Except thankfully, MR is left raw and organic as it should be, not watered down with an electro pop track.

She's been doing this since like 2009 though. Her fans complained about TFM being too dark, and then they complained about BTW. Her fans will continue to drop, but the show will go on. Maybe she'll grow a new audience with Joanne

Omg you guys have got to stop with the "she needs to get over herself", acting like the only thing she should be doing is electro pop bangers. She's an artist, she evolves and likes to try new things. It's ridiculous to expect her to be doing one kind of thing her whole career.
