never heard of Alcest before and looked them up and the first thing found was Oiseaux de Proie and it sounds SO good except for that ugly ass screaming section... could've been SOTY material without it.

I would definitely say start with Souvenirs, their second album is better imo but Souvenirs tends to be less shouty.
Does anyone know bands like Sleigh Bells? I reallly like their productions and sonic style but the lead singer is so boring most of the time imo basically looking for loud but also catchy noise rock/pop.

I'm finally starting to appreciate Halcyon Digest more. It was mostly a huge snoozefest at the first couple of times I listened to it. Weird Era Cont. is and will always be my favorite Deerhunter album.

They played 5 new songs at the first Vancouver show tonight and said the new album will be out shortly. New songs sounded good, of course.
What's up with Grimes releasing 7 music videos all at once? That's pretty cool for an indie artist. Have you guys listened to the new Garbage single, 'Magnetized'? By the way, how's the weath... I'm gonna stop right there.
