I certainly don't have to pretend to like my faves work just because they're my fave. Besides Party Favors and ROYL, I don't really use any other tracks from the Joyride era.

I'm honestly not sure of what to say. Aquarius was basically her BBTM (but better). A perfect blend of her sound with a commercial appeal. So chasing success can't be the problem. All that album needed was better single choices. Era died as soon as Pretend was released . I can't even explain why the material is bad now
