And that's part of the problem. Business can cheat us of millions of dollars by partaking in unethical methods, but hold employees to higher ethical standards, especially when dealing with their revenue. Wells Fargo, I'm looking at you. The culture in what is acceptable and what is not, it needs changing and needs it fast. I rebuke the defense of businesses getting passes because that's "just how business is" or "it's legally acceptable according to the laws set in place currently." Housing and bribing congress to allow this travesty to continue through manipulation of money and blackmail is why they are allowed to get away with this. So, no, I don't accept that it's "smart business" as a businessman or businesswoman to do this.
