Guys, she performed at the oscars twice, grammys, super bowl national anthem, was the lead on american horror story, their was sooo much promo leading up to this if you really think about it. Even ignoring it, it had a radio deal , itunes banners, hot tracks, spotify payola, radio interviews at all the big stations, music video, it was on an NFL commercial, music video premier on the season premier of a tv show, and she was all over the headlines with the super bowl announcement
Perfect Illusion has enough promo to be at least in the top 20-15 right now, but it's just that the GP doesn't like it

Why would anybody defend that garbage RedOne song? Who cares if it's streamed more than PI, it sounds like a mid-2000s J-Lo track.

But that's the thing, we should be worried about what the album is gonna sound like, not what it's going to sell. We all know that it's not going to be full of perfect illusions anyway.
Bad Romance is indeed Red One's best produced song, but let's not act like he's produced up to that quality output SINCE Bad Romance. He hasn't.
