I listened to the first three songs on The Altar, and I was shocked at how generic some of these songs were. I only listened to FWM and Gemini Feed before release, but she released all the good songs she had before album release.
Banks sucks man. There's nothing appealing about her uncharacteristic voice and her bland faux-deep atmospheric music. Everything just kinda blends together. Brain, Begging For Thread and Gemini Feed are her only good songs.
