yeah I meant that it seems like Gaga's charracter is like quite sinister, it's in the roots of her existence. So her being a " witch" doesn't explain why she is evil, that's what i meant.

On another note, this episode was great. It really feels like a TRUE American Horror Story. Almost in ways that the others haven't.

WOW I was SCALPED by this episode!! This season is amazing so far, it's already better than 4 and 5, and I can see it being better than 3. Gaga scared the **** out of me, she is incredible and I love the direction that they're taking her

The episode was great. I wasn't really scared or anything. I was more uncomfortable/unnerved with the woodland witch offering the heart to the butcher and the subsequent deaths of those that betrayed her.

WHEW, I'm so ready for all these witch/Circe/maenad theories to be OBLITERATED when the show does what it usually does: Completely circumvents everyone's theories and then pisses them off, resulting in backlash.

And Marty, this episode being fantastic doesn't retroactively make episodes 1 and 2 any good; they were still trash. Orphans did not make Bullseye or Test of Strength any good, either.

Finally some development and change in pacing. The first two episodes felt so static, where as I actually look forward to seeing next episode now after ep 3.

For me, Kathy is the star this season. Her role is truly chilling and unnerving. Of course, Sarah and Angela slay but Kathy is a real standout this season (just like she was in Coven with Delphine).

Delete episode two and add the Flora sub-plot to the first hour... Combine it with the third hour and we would've had a solid two hour premiere.

Probably the shows best... but let me not.

also, i don't really understand why people are complaining that they are introducing so many different plots. hello, have you ever watched AHS before? they've introducing about 4 plots so far, but it's not too many, and they're obviously all connected. are you complaining because you want answers immediately? there's a mystery element--you're supposed to be confused and wanting clarification lol
