If you've done your research, you'll know not to count him out. He is a huge album seller. His albums always have opened up well and sell consistently in the weeks after. Pentatonix is going to be releasing the same week so there is a legitimate competition because that band has opened up wel and sold consistently in the weeks after as well.
There is a possibility of Gaga missing out on that #1. We all need to be prepared and just embrace it because she's "not here for the charts."
