I'm too weak for a whole chunk of Joanne in one single dose.
That feeling of a new song hitting you for the 1st time and then another and another one, that's something I could only feel with BTW. ARTPOP was preactically performed at the Itunes Festival and killed the surprise!

SwineFest felt like Gaga booking a performing slot while she had just finished demos for like half an album. Who knows Swine and I Wanna Be With You could probably be her improvisation in situ.
So, ARTPOP was still new to me when the album came out. Plus we had DWUW and Dope as promo singles.

But we already knew how the majority of the songs would sound like. I just want to be blown away at once and I have a feeling Joanne will do that to me, to my feelings!
Joanne trips from 'genre to genre' with a soulful farming narrative. For the next week leading up to its Oct 21 release, Streamline/Interscope Records will release 'Diamond Heart', the second single from Joanne, for fans as a preview of what's to come! This song will be released a week before Joanne with the music video to highlight Gaga's creative and musical evolution on the album, we are proud to release this authentic and bold piece of music.

PI was picked as the lead to lower our standards. And when the album drops, the GP will be so floored by the other songs they'll think "Adele" & buy the album. PI was sacrificed for album sales. Y'all shouldn't have doubted Bobby.
I wish the album was coming sooner. I can't hold back anymore and I really want to listen again.
Anyway, if they do an instant grat I hope it's "Joanne". I don't think that song will be a single so it won't spoil anything and it showcases the softer side of the album quite well.
I am excited about all the songs, but yeah I can't help but being pumped about Diamond Heart, at first I wasn't excited about it, but Jeff saying it should've been the lead single and that it's a huge love ballad Whitney style...
Also excited a lot about Dancing in Circles, Ayo and Joanne.
Um, I will never consider that to be her 6th album. Do people consider Evita to be a madonna album? I don't think they do.
EDIT: Who's we? I'm the only person who responded to you.
Okay Check back on the last page!
I realised today that there's a comforting sense of familiarity around all of Gaga's albums because their themes and titles have always been mentioned or hinted at years before release. I don't mean in an "ARTPOP 2013!" announcement kind of way, but in the sense that she was talking about "popart and artpop" in 2008, being "born this way" throughout 2009 and discussing Joanne since around the same period. I have huge appreciation for The Monster Ball now, given that you can watch it and just about see all the themes (most in their infancy) that she's still exploring in her work right to this day. It's some pretty special stuff.
Did you guys realize that this album has the same structure as Mary Lambert's Heart On My Sleeve? 11 tracks on standard, 14 on deluxe, last song on deluxe being a different version of the last song on the standard
