She's not commercially done, its her image and music that's the problem. If she wants to smash again, she can but can she go the Rihanna,Beyonce or KATY route and for two eras allow her voice to be tweaked and the music and lyrics to be made for her, plus her fashion image chosen,then picks the lovely sounding ones as she reinvents her sound, not noisy,80's music but just good modern music, nor being off putting and extra. If she allowed that for 3 albums, she would smash commercially and have more cultural impact but WELP! That will just be a dream, that will be said forever.
