Waiting here for a dress shop to open, Ms. Groux, 60, said that she thought that Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee, had been “presidential” in the debate, but that Mr. Trump, the Republican nominee, had come across like a “bull in a china closet.”
“He doesn’t listen,” Ms. Groux said. “I’m afraid he would just make his own decisions and not listen to anyone else’s — and I don’t think that’s a way to have a country.”
“I truly want to like him,” she said. “I keep looking for something in him. But I can’t have my children grow up and look at him as someone to respect.”
OMG can yall white people get your **** together, this is crazy.
So I registered to vote and when I look up my polling locations, there are two listed, one for state and one for special. This is my first time voting and I'm not sure which one I'm supposed to go to. Is it the special location? Is this a special election?
Special election is when voters vote in a politician in an off-election year.
For example, Virginia Governor will replace Tim Kaine and you'll have to vote for another candidate/officially elect in 2017 I think.
Anne Holton is the real MVP. She's campaigned more than all the other surrogates put together.
I've been sleeping on her, she's experienced af too Harvard and Princeton, a Michelle Obama tea, AND she was a judge and Secretary of Education. Jesus Christ.
