He got into the weeds on race which was an obvious loser, and she was able to basically recite campaign ads against him word for word

Let me reiterate: Saying, "I built an unbelievable company," without providing facts and figures is not acceptable, and it's definitely not acceptable when you haven't released your tax returns and think it's "smart" to get out of paying taxes. He lost on every point.
