So according to my statistic, an average 230-240 Blacks & Hispanics (out of 585) have been killed in police-involved killings this year alone.

That accounts for almost half. Why isn't anybody finding these numbers alarming considering Blacks are only 13% of the population and Hispanics account for just 18%?

It doesn't make any sense to me.

Seems a bit naive of him. Whilst I believe he is coming from the right place, unfortunately we live in the world where race does matter on a number of issues, and police brutality is one of them. You simply can't deny that racism still exists when you see time and time again unarmed black men and youths being shot by police for no good reason.

Brody was never the smartest so I'm not surprised at his comment on this issue.

He's clearly missing the bigger picture and it DOES have to do with race but also with police officers using their guns wayyy too easily and way too quickly.

Obviously America isn't a war zone but it could be and it's close to actually being one. Just look at Detroit, Chicago, or philly. These cities are unusually unsafe because of gang violence, murders, and burglars and something drastic needs to be done about it. Police officers have a dangerous job. They are always on the edge when pulling people over because they have been trained to be very cautious of their surroundings and people they are pulling over. According to the Bereau of Labor Statistics, cops are not even in the top 10 of most dangerous jobs in America. They are even below garbage collectors and farmers. There is no reason to give a jumpy lil ***** with a gun, a badge and license to kill. The standards need to be set higher.

Doesn't matter if you aren't complying. If you are UNARMED, they are trained (or should be) to get someone under control to detain them. Why do they even own mace and tazors if they grab their gun first at all times. Scary wimps. If you crack that easily under pressure, you didn't get enough training, or you were never meant to be a police officer. Police officers are here to protect the public, not kill anyone who doesn't comply. **** him.

People who say stuff like this must not have encounter many police before. These people are ruthless and so authoritarian towards anyone not their own tbh.

Black, white, Hispanic, etc. all have bad experiences with cops. This is just a known fact. And black people get is worse. Why is it so hard to admit these things???

Humm I have mixed feelings about his post but i don't disagree 100 per cent with him : indeed everybody should be treated equally, even when it comes to break the law, etc.

I recommend everyone look up the statistics on yearly causes of death for American cops - every single death of one is registered in a database that's public.

The amount of cops killed by a gun are.... oddly tiny.

The number killed by friendly fire or "gun accidents" during training or at a shooting range is shockingly high (these mother****ers don't even know how to work their guns or not shoot one another

).

9/11-related illnesses (

) used to be more of a killer of cops than being fatally shot by a criminal in an average year, if I'm remembering the data correctly.

There really is no reason for cops to be so jumpy and trigger-happy. If anything, they better be more concerned their insurance is good and that the cops around them know what they're doing.
