This might never re peak or out peak it's debut but as long as it has longevity wouldn't you guys be happy? I just want the song to float around the top 30 for a long while and for it to cross like 500k sales in the US. I'd be good with that.

being completely honest after a 3 year break doesnt want the label or gaga come back with something better than just a "good song"? were they thinkin that her break up was such a big event to promote PI?

Gaga & Interscope decided to release this song. It's a good song, and they thought it was single-worthy. That's really all there is to understand.

usually, views on VEVO are (or were back then) higher than the youtube views

VEVO counts both VEVO and youtube views
youtube counts only youtube views (not sure about nowadays)
