The song is actually about the relationship with her fans. The "perfect illusion" that they love her and yet they criticize her to no end and abandon her when things get rough. In the video she's surrounded by fans one second, and the next completely alone.
Better than expected. I liked the car scene and her in the club atmosphere during the bridge the most.
I would have actually liked the visuals, and her falling on the floor at the end and the crowd is gone (like an illusion) is a cute idea....BUT
I never had a problem with seizures in my life, but with heavy migraine an the video was forcing me to look away at some points. The camera shaking and the lights flashing are way too much, you can barely look at it.
I'm actually dizzy now
Y'all basics will always moan about getting that Bad Romance 2.0 with each new video. Give her a break, let her breathe and give us what she believes in. The video is ****ing rad, I live for the high energy, the colours, outfits, hairstyle, camera work..Everything!
Ugh this is such a f*ck you to her fans and the people who love Gaga. A toned down image doesnt mean you have to come up with bad and cheap productions. I'm open for all kind of arts and styles, but this is NOT A-list material. The song nor the video. This is not even quality indie artist material. Its just really bad.
The GP + most of her fans has spoken... I don't think she will come back. It's done.
I think I get what she was going for, but the editing and camera movements are a bit too messy for my taste. I really liked the aesthetics though. And she looks great.
She looked really good. The colours were on point, but omg that editing almost game seizures. I didn't even finish. Terrible overall because of that editing.
Um, this is AMAZING. I don't get the lukewarm response.
It's chaotic, messy and angry, just like the song and it all fits perfectly. It's like the most natural and least try-hard thing she's ever done and she's serving presence with 0 gimmicks. It's also completely different from all her other visuals, which is exactly what she needed for a reinvention.
And honestly, I kind of gave the song a chance a few days ago and it goes OFF on the treadmill. She may not be winning the GP over, but I'm kind of on board, ngl
