stop projecting what your own definition and perception of Gaga into her, she's an artist and artists have the freedom to change and evolve both musically and visually, she said that this record is autobiographical and if she wants that kind of music to come across as believable and relatable she MUST take it down a notch with the over the top imagery, and at the end of it she's in charge of her own career and will do whatever feels right to her, you can either enjoy the material she's going to put out or you can move on, and I really fail to see what do sales have to do with you liking or disliking something !

I just rewatched some of her old videos and they are miles better than this. Her old videos were true ART.

She looks cute in this video though, especially with the wavy hair.

Right.... suddenly the GP "hated" her antics. Yet this isn't doing as good as when she pulled stunts. Interesting conclusion.

Anyway I kind of liked it. The cinematography was borderline perfect. They overdid the shaky camera effect just a bit, the song is not that intense. And she looks great.

the outfits are there, the concept is there, and the imagery is there, you're just unable to move on from the past, she's not going to keep on beating that dead horse because that era of extravagance and avant guard imagery is tired and lost it's mystery, if you can't wrap your head around that, then you're just going to keep expecting things that are never going to come !
