I agree it really is a huge flaw - she makes too big of a deal about releasing stuff. Like "Rise" should've been spat out with a cute little EP, like just release something queen it doesn't need to be promoted. A cute little Spotify surprise - it'd be great!

I suppose she thinks releasing rarely is building up hype, but let's be real there are a lot of music artists out there making better pop than she ever has (sorry but it's true - they haven't had the $$ push Katy has though) and if she thinks people are gonna linger and wait years for her she's wrong.

I agree with everything said. She takes way too long. I like that she puts an effort into promoting, but I feel like she takes more time off than she should.

It's not her time off that is too long, it's the touring. 2 years touring the same album is just not realistic for a A-list pop star.

We've wanted her to do features since late 2014 but of course she refuses to. It's so obvious that's all she needs. I mean, even Rihanna was 'struggling' this era (3 flop 'buzz' singles, flop soundtrack album, Work was pretty local, ANTI flopped in sales, Kiss It Better flopped everywhere, Needed Me was extremely local) but "This Is What You Came For" was a massive WW HIT.
