I wouldn't say 'flop'. it did ok. not massive but not a true bomb. but the tragedy was when no one continued playing it - people reporting they kept battling the same people online after a few months and having like 91 players at Worlds

and no they're not discouraged. they said today they're working on stuff for the NX.

I did As did many other people in this thread when we were discussing if it was going to be a new stadium or a smash bros like game; before it was actually announced.

It was something I wanted since my childhood tbh. But like all games of that nature, it's boring unless you're playing with someone (and online against friends was messy since you only had 10 secs to connect to them )

I wanted Stadium 3 a lot more, and I still need it to happen. NX with 3ds connectivity plz.

Did anyone notice that Wishiwashi's surf only did about half damage to Alola Marowak and Mudsdale. To do the 90% to the Magnezone that it did (assuming 0 IVs/EVs), it would need 145 S.Atk at the lowest, or around 130 S.Atk with Modest. Or 120 S.Atk if Modest and Magnezone was Naughty (-S.Def).

*Make these 135/120/110 if Hydro Pump gets increased back to 120*

But... against Marowak which is 2x S.E., it did 50%? But Surf - in doubles - does between 113-133% (OHKO) against regular Marowak (who has 60 HP / 80 S.Def btw). This is from the 135 without nature boost. Even if it was Adamant and 120 S.Atk, it would still do 83-99%. A. Marowak would need 100/100 HP / S.Def stats (or like 85/100 with Calm nature) to only take 50% (from 120 S.Atk -ve Wishiwashi)

What gives? A.Marowak is HP & S.Def bulk now, or Surf / multi-range moves got nerfed in doubles again? Or some stat fixing for the trailers?

She needs Touch Claws/Technician and I will be PRESSED if they give her neither. They didn't even bother to change even one of Rockruff's abilities for the midnight form.

They did very few mons wrong ability-wise in Gen VI (eg Pyroar and Gourgeist) so there's no reason to not do the same this Gen.

Also there's still the chance it'll get something useful as HA. Tough Claws or something. Whereas Lurantis is doomed for Chlorophyll. Be happy even with a trash HA, Sunruff is likely UU+ considering her speed + obviously powerful attack.
