Lady Gaga didn't dress herself, nor did she name herself. Even at her peak, designers (the more popular ones as she became global) wanted her to wear their clothing. You'd know this if you had been paying any attention to pop culture.
Any1 know a forum where its members actually know what they're talking about because I'm getting bored of this stupidity.
Hmm, but she did allude to the idea that she wasn't a puppet and was calling all these shots including her costumes. I mean I still remember Gaga fans used to get super upset and angry if you called her outfits, costumes It goes to show that it was such a forefront in her image that she alluded to being in control of and that there was immense pressure to please this fanbase who needed her to be an avant-garde ahead of the curb artist
How many goths/emos etc do you see say stuff like "this is a lifestyle, not a choice!" only to see them wearing normal clothes in a couple of years. That Gaga still exists. Gaga, like fashion, is ever changing.
I totally agree with this !
When Madonna released Ray Of Light, she said she would never sing the likes of Material Girl and Vogue again , cause she was "lightyears" away from "that"
So, yeah, artists, like us, change their minds and that does not mean they're liers or anything .
I wouldn't say she lied, but I think it's pretty clear that the weird outfit Gaga wasn't really her
It was probably forced upon her by her handlers, the fact that the name "Lady Gaga" was Rob Fusari's brainchild kinda supports that
So "her handlers" managed to convince a large group of people who were Stefani's friends prior to her signing with Interscope to design her clothes, props, choreograph her small stage shows, club appearances, lighting and decks.. for fame? In a club with about 1,000 people? Where were you in late 2008? You saw Gaga wearing the same outfits, yes?
The nerve of a Britney stan, and then a Rihanna stan, to insinuate that Gaga is contrived by the music machine.
I'm embarrassed to be having this convo.
I'd love to know who was funding all of this, while it took however many months for Gaga to have a hit single. Hmm, atrl?
She has always been a compulsive liar, from saying she was bi to saying she had no money, lying about rape, diseases, bullying, the "madonna emailed me" fiasco... you name it, she even promises her fans plenty of things that she knew damn well would never happen. that's a mental issue and it won't change anytime, unless she wants to.

No shade, but you're not proving anyone wrong when "atrl" already believes,
1. GaGa is a puppet - as seen in the reaction to the "label chose the single" and "label suggested Father John Misty" threads.
2. GaGa grew up rich and her father bought her a career.

She grew up rich?? I thought she was a poor struggling artist in the performance art circuit of NY?
I dont know But it's been said on this site before. There's even a member with a link in their sig that reads "how GaGa's father bought her a career" or something like that.
