No but they knew their names along with it. All of them knew Spice Girls. Yet they couldn't even by the least say it's something by Destiny's Child or along those lines. I mean they knew Mariah's name from One Sweet Day but they didn't know the actual song, so that can't be it
Well, group name wise it's a little different for DC, cause of the whole Bey leading the group dynamic.
So most were able to pick up it was Beyonce singing Independent Woman. But yea, couldn't name the group.
I don't think you can fairly compare them with these other groups who actually were...groups....
People not knowing DC really doesn't reflect badly on Beyst anyway, she really managed to break out properly and her solo career has surpassed them which is the important thing to achieve, but they had so many great hits and it's a shame the newer generation won't know them.
