Two options:

- launch joanne on perfect illusion which has bombed everywhere, will be out of the top 100/200 in most markets (minus maybe USA) in 2 weeks

- put out another single that could potentially catch on and sell the album on that. if it bombs as well, at least she tried, if it's a success, it gives joanne something to go on

Gaga is not in position to get isntant smash right from the begining, no matter what she releases, she doesn't have TFM hype she had in BTW era. whatver the hell she releases she will have to buildup it (unless it features someone who has hype atm but collab wouldn't really help to sell the album). and 2 weeks isn't enough for it. So why bothering canceling all their damn plans and promotions to rush song and get another dwuw situation. PI is her "only chance" and no matter how much it's not your cup of tea you will have to deal and hope it catches on (if you want her good) cause there is no other option atm, unless she postponess album which would be the biggest disaster of it. Lol song didn't even get any promo yet, PI and applause was at the same place at the end of first week, applause would also freefall if she didn't release video right then, then they promoted it more and it catched on. They still didn't do any promo for this nor the video is out, and all of this was expected without promo (unless ure delusional). Song still can catch on with the promo.

1. Top producers work with anyone as long as they believe in their material(see Justin after Journalism)
2. As long as there is MV, i don't care where it is premiered
3. i don't see her not getting any cover or TV performance, even if she continue flopping her covers still sells and she bring audience
4. A lot of artist far less commercial still tour
