I t's a fact the song is bombing in the US and doing even worse outside of english speaking countries.

But what is there to do that this fanbase hasn't done for the song?

At this point, considering the days some took to create playlists and stream the living **** out of it to the countless monsters that spent tens of dollars gifting tens of copies everywhere to continuous requests on all radio stations across the world. All these...for what?

Because at this point, her fans have done ten times more in promoting this song than she has done. If she doesn't care about promoting the song on a major scale, doesn't care about releasing its music video on time or even putting the damn album on pre-order, why would we care that much?

Just chill out and wait for her to do what she wants to do and simply enjoy the music

True. I had high expectations for this when I found out who worked on this, but it turned out to be a disappointment. It has since then grown on me, but still. I just don't understand what they were thinking by choosing this as the lead. This sounds like a disposable, cute album track, not a lead. I'm more surprised Interscope also agreed to this being the lead, tbh.

But hey again, I'm going to support whatever Gaga pulls out because I'm a Little Monster and I don't care about the flopping myself, I just hope Gaga really meant it when she said she doesn't care about the charts because this is doing much worse than anything she had ever pulled out. I don't want to see her going another breakdown like she did during ARTPOP (which only performed below the expectations, while this one is straight up flopping...)

This is the main issue.

I don't understand the thinking behind this release at all. Not caring for the charts is one thing, but it's so insane to think that you're risking three years of work on one song. They should have either released a guaranteed smash for such an immediate album due-date, or kept the date secret so they can change it without damaging the perception of the era.

This should be common sense. Even if they rush release a second single, the media is going to have a field day casting the era as a disaster. Best case scenario is that PI rebounds, or the second single is SO amazing that PI is instantly forgotten. I don't see a middle ground.

45S didn't fit the pop mold either, and it was a smash in comparison to this

Don't expect anything from the video.
