I think the real reason we're all cackling is because the monsters went on and on about how she was woman of the year and winning all these awards and the GP loved her again.

PL isn't a lead single material and it's definitely not a catchy song that can be played over and over on the Radio, I mean even Justin Bieber who is one of the most hated singers was able to win back the GP because he worked with the right people and released an album full of catchy pop songs that can be played on the radio. Gaga doesn't understand the ins and outs of producing pop music, I know she wants to have a part in everything but she needs to leave some things to the experts of such a craft.

I know some are saying why are we acting surprised? Seriously? This is Lady Gaga. One of the most important artist of the last decade. This makes no sense. Regardless of the song her name alone should carry it. At least enough to do better than this. This is a disaster tbh. I knew trouble was a foot when she didn't take that VMA stage. Maybe she's rushing this comeback?

If she were rushing it, she would have had it out by the VMAs, no?

Honestly, she and her team more than likely overestimated how well she would perform and figured that they were above promoting the song. Hence why there have been 0 promotional appearances to perform the song on television or anything.

Also I hope Gaga doesn't cancel the album release. Girl if this is your artistic vibe right now stand on that. Believe in it despite the charts. At the same time she is not pardoned from these lashings. All the girls and boys get them when they flop or appear to flop. It's the nature of the game.

It's been 5 years since she got a pop hit that got to be played over and over on the Radio, Artpop didn't produce any hits that the GP can look back to and say wow that song was hot and I still use it. Radio is everything and it can guarantee any song's success even when the song isn't that big on iTunes, you need Radio plays and of course streaming nowadays to get a hit.

That's the problem, she can still write whatever she wants and get involved in the process of creating music but when it comes to producing I think she needs to take a step back, nothing wrong with that.
