Can't believe people are complaint about some of the actors looking older than the actors giving the interview, have you never seen a real documentary like this, the actors always vary in the ages and how they look, it's such a petty thing to bitch about
Loved the first episode. It feels like Ryan is going back to when it was good (S1 & S2). The documentary style is fresh and I like how this could possibly go anywhere. Our main characters are apart of a TV show about their haunting. Pre-taped interviews. Why does no one get that? They can still be killed off.
I have a weird theory though from this. What if all the seasons of AHS were reenactments for this TV show and that's how they all are connected?!
the point of My Roanoke Nightmare is that it's a show in the AHS universe where people don't believe in ghosts but they do actually exist, which will be revealed later, when the spooky stuff actually really starts to happen.
If Season 1-5 were only shows too in that universe that would mean ghosts never existed in the real AHS world but only on that tv show.
Also, Billie Deans show is also a show in the AHS universe. Nobody can tell me we watched a show in a show in a show.
This was the best season opener ever for this show. It was legit creepy and made me jump a couple of times, this is what I always wanted form this show, not the camp or the comedy but actual horror and they delivered.
The documentary-style ruined the scary and dark element this season supposed to have. Yes, we all want Lily Rabe to be back as a main cast, but if Ryan can only give her that ****** role, then don't bother
One thing that doesn't click with me is... In the City scene, why are Shelby & Matt Lily Rabe & Andre Holland there and not Sarah & Cuba? It just doesn't make sense to me. It's like Ryan decided Lily Rabe was better in that scene than Sarah so they went for whoever did better. It's just so confusing.
