Tinashe will never give up her pop dream but people clearly want urban from her
I'm STILL so confused about that though.
Like, she says she wants to do pop, yet there's only 1 pure pop song in her entire catalogue ("Wildfire"), she gave away the poppiest track of Joyride (Fearless / Scared Of Lonely), and she proclaimed a hook-less urban record to be her favorite song on the album. Her writing style isn't pop either, so... what gives?
What's happening to her? Like almost every song on her debut had great production and was very memorable, but this is really forgettable and it sounds like the music in old video games.
