Yeah Taylor definitely stole Avril's entire image/music and updated it to make it more bland + basic white girl'd for mass appeal
You know I love Avril but stop the delusion, the only thing mildly similar between the lord and Avril is that she had a cheerleader scene in Shake It Off and she had some pop rock songs on Speak Now.
Sounds like YOU'RE the one living in the past. ARTPOP is a genius masterpiece that won't be appreciated for decades. It freed my heart and mind and it's the best album I've heard. Perfect Illusion is also incredible and too sophisticated for basic pop stans like you. Gaga doesn't need to make basic music for the charts now, she's going to be a legend on the level of Bowie and Prince.
