ive felt this way for every song shes released this era except party favors though... so itll grow im me im sure, but ive kinda lost hope on this album being as good as aquarius

That was already clear for me since Player came out. I mean I really enjoyed Player but Aquarius was basically perfect to me. She seems to be experimenting with too much sounds and directions which makes it all feel sloppy. I feel there will be good stuff on the eventual record, but the fact this album went to too many phases is already worrying. At this point I am personally at a point that I just want the album out and get over this era. I Love Tinashe, but this no Joyride but a proper trainwreck.

I think this is a better single option than Superlove it's more on-trend. Could still use improvement but yeah... a legit single is here somewhere. It's very catchy on the first listen. I like how her voice sounds.

I would be kinda surprised and maybe disappointed if this was just a random album track... it's not stellar or anything. It's just good and it sounds like a single attempt so idk. Overall I like it! Just kinda confused

This is SO lackluster. I'm disappointed--and I don't think I'll grow to love it like I did with Superlove. Girl needs some help with her hooks. If she would've done something a la:

from these joyride tracks i am very disappointed about joyride and don't care about joyride anymore. Joyride could possibly be her worse project to date. She need to start working on T3, cause joyride is not the tea and i am over it. I don't know how she can make a masterpiece like Amethyst, a project that was recorded in the same time frame as joyride in couple weeks yet joyride from what we heard is so weak.

Guys, don't write the entire album off yet. Remember the 2 first songs we had from Aquarius were 2 On and Pretend and these are NOT the best or most creative songs on that album either.

Besides, the few songs she did on tour sound hot and there's probably at least 8 more songs we haven't heard in studio or live form. What if they're all masterpieces or something?

But I'm with nuclear on Amethyst being better than anything we've had from Joyride so far. And the reason is probably that she was laid back and herself, artistically, on Amethyst. The pursuit for a hit is really holding her back.

i agree to an extent but weve heard a good portion of the album already and really none of the songs blow me away like aquarius tracks have done, idk these tracks seem really uninspired and it worries me that this is her favorite song on the record

i know ill come to love it, maybe she wont be able to please me easily since her first album is actually perfect

i know it too soon drag joyride to hell where it could belong. The only reason i have hope is because of ( Fire & flame, Getho boi, and no contest, and even those weren't in level of Cold Sweats and Bet) i am just tired of being disappointed with everything she release, plus she release about half of the album by now. Why couldn't she just release No Contest

I mean... I'm definitely a little afraid too and I get what you mean, but I also have this weird feeling that the actual album is actually a 4-star body of work. If Company is indeed produced by The-Dream, then it was one of the songs added after she went back to the studio. The core of the album is basically untouched and probably amazing. I just think RCA / Tinashe just chose the wrong songs. Neither is known for a good ear for singles

Plus, you know I'm rooting for NONE of the buzz songs to be on Joyride, so if I get my way, we only have 2 out of at least 15 songs
