At least her shape is on point. Too bad it will be wasted for videos of her dancing in the desert.

To be fair, if these videos and lyric videos can get hundreds of million views with just lyrics displaying over the screen or dance teams just dancing in front of a green screen then like I said the other day, it's just Gaga. Its been widely known already that videos have been a snore for the past year or so. So literally, no excuses for her if she dances in the desert and it bombs.
This is a nice review. By that I mean that they were actually just really kind. Some bits and pieces:

Released last week, "Perfect Illusion" is a stomping disco-rock jam with a killer robot-Motown groove, buckets of scuzz-punk guitar fuzz and a key change designed to trigger Pavlovian fist-pumps. It has a melody that will burrow into your brain before the two-minute mark.
And like all the best pop songs, it can't decide if it's sad or happy, paranoid or ecstatic; the tune lifts you up at the same time that it marches over you, a blast of serotonin under constant threat of reuptake.
"I don't need eyes to see / I felt you touching me," Lady Gaga sings, her voice fraying at the edges. "High like amphetamine / Maybe you're just a dream."
All that said, "Perfect Illusion" is likely to raise the eyebrows of even Gaga loyalists with its proudly unglossy textures.
Worldwide streaming is pretty decent.
It might end up at about: 15M YT streams + 13M Spotify streams + 2M Apple Music streams + Tidal + Google Play + Deezer + others = well over 30,000,000 first week streams.
The US ain't quite that great, but it still won't do the numbers posted by HDD. 5.5 - 6M? Seems impossible
She's already over 2M YouTube streams (2 days left), 2,2M Spotify streams (3 days left) and about 0,5M Apple Music streams = That's over 4,7M already.
