If Gaga really wanted commercial success do you know how easy it would be for her to have it? All she'd have to do is work with a hitmaker, create an urban influenced song, feature Drake, and she would've had the biggest hit of her career - literally all things she could have arranged and made happen. if she really wanted to.

The problem here is PI sounds kinda worse the more you hear it. I hope I am not completely alone on this. Because I love Games and bad romances

Another problem is people already don't like her early into her career. It's possibly because of crazy behaviour when she came out as a hit maker pop tart or because she released material that is less then pop standards.

Sis, this isn't a Just Dance situation. Of course JD took several weeks--it was her debut single, no one knew her before

495,833 US Apple Music streams (~25% of Spotify streams)

= 5,182,141 total US streams so far.

Lets not forget that there is Google Play Music as well. She still has 2 more days of YouTube tracking and 3 more Spotify updates. The numbers aren't completely accurate (especially Apple Music), but it is safe to say that she is currently above 5 million US streams already. With AHS on Wednesday, my estimate is 8 million US streams.

Sis,PI's US YouTube streams only account for 16 percent of global YouTube views.

Why are her fans acting like Perfect Illusion is some kind of experimental risky left-field art piece? It's a freaking dance pop song with some rock elements and throwback vibes, something that she's been doing since day one. The problem this time around is she's NOT delivering the good melodies that she usually does.

@ people saying it's a slow burner and will be a sleeper hit. The song is irritatingly repetitive and her vocals are way too much for the GP（or anyone who are not fans）to handle. The radio callout score will be tragic and all the stations will drop the song within this month. Mark my words.

Stop she's working with Mark R and Bloodpop both just had the biggest hits

...Uptown Funk is one of the biggest song in the last 5 years and Sorry is the one of the biggest song of the year.. I don't get why you fell the need to explain this underperformance
