I've been an iPhone user since 2010 and I have to say this is the worst iOS update ever.

- The music is app is a complete disaster, everything looks so big, it's awful.
- The emojis look almost as ugly as Android's.
- I don't know what's the name for that menu that appears when you slide up from the bottom of the phone, it's not divided in 2 tabs and that only makes it less useful.

I am chatting with Apple Support about the iCloud error, this is what I was just told

Ok, this is an error message that our engineering team is aware of and is working at top speed to get taken care of. We do not have an ETA at this time, but rest assured all of your music is safe and will be back once we get the error resolved.

Edit: Aside from looking hideous, there's so much lost or irrationally moved functionality. Why can't you pull down to reveal the search bar anymore? It doesn't need a whole damn tab dd

I also don't like that the control panel (or whatever you call the one that swipes up from the bottom of the screen) now has a whole separate tab for music. I know it's just one extra swipe to the side, but still. It's less convenient when you're trying to pause or skip a song.

It's no longer popping up on mine!

The apps in the home screen thing, it's up to you, you can remove it and customise it.

You have to tap the home button twice or three times idr

I turned on Touch ID, but if you have click enabled, the first click will activate your widgets and when you swipe it will enable you to view your photos without tapping again to unlock. It could pose a security risk for individuals who accidentally tap it.

Overall this is a horrible aesthetic update with features that I would like to remove. How do I disable the dumb stuff they added to messages? Simplicity was one of the few things iOS still had

i've seen the update on my friend's phone for a while, so i told myself i wouldn't update but it's kinda inevitable

the apple music app is ugly and not the normal "i'm not used to new" ugly, it looks like a child designed it. why is the album art smaller? that's what should be on display, not some ****ing gigantic pause button.

and the contact pictures in messages.. do they really expect me to have a picture of everyone i text? the gray person icon looks so ugly.. ugh all these little things just bother me
