The production, mixing, mastering and even her vocal.. they're not the problem. The problem is the chorus. It's just ****ing basic. It's so amatuer-ish and anticlimatic.

I could see it happening if the verses weren't too repetitive and if the vocals didn't drown out the instrumental, what was released makes her vocals grating

I think the problem with PI (personally for me!!!) is that Ronson, Bloodpop & Parker have such distinctive sounds that honestly imo the clash of all their sounds doesn't translate well at all. All I know is we better ****ing get some true pop Bloodpop solo production on the album

He was on BTW (scheisse/judas/hair) even tho someone else exec produced it. In fact PI flopping might have her change the soundtrack a bit, or at least I hope so.

The verse being repetitive isn't the problem, I mean it's a staple gaga, many of her songs are very repetitive but they always click with the GP. I suppose I agree with you on the vocals tho, it put me off as well when I listened to the song for the first time.

OT: I adore Perfect Illusion but I love RedONe songs too. Don't by snobby, guys - they've created magic together in the past and those songs made Gaga big.

What I ask myself is the following:
Why do we think that RedOne wants to work with Gaga the next era? I mean, if she ditches him this time too, then it's already two eras, where they worked together and then she doesn't use his material. I'd be very salty in his place.
