I absolutelly love Perfect Illusion, it's the only song I've been playing since Friday.
But it's no single material at all. It played for the first time on the radio here this morning and I was in the car with my friend. This was the first time I actually listened to the song with someone else by my side. Damn, the moment the song started playing I was like "Yes girl, Lady Gaga is back, are you ready to hear her new song?"
Jesus, the moment that key change came I was so embarassed, I almost wanted to mute the radio. It was such a painful experience to see my friend's face during the key change like she was listening to the worst song ever.
That scream, all that noise, it was so embarassing. I absolutely love PI but I won't be making anyone else listen to it again. It's by no means a great song for you to listen out loud. I'll keep listening to it with my earphones, tho.

I love the song. And I do find the video great overall, but there is some really unnecessary moments in the video.
If the Housewife parts where done right, with beautiful models that knew how to move/dance/act/look sexy, it would slay! The LEGO part was not needed, same for Minecraft and Andy Cohen ()
(I removed some of the yelling so that the instrumental is a bit more front and center, and so that people don't have to endure me yelling for 3 mins straight...)

Can we stop dragging fans who are upset at the major change this song is? People began stanning for Gaga because of who she inherently was (or portrayed as it's seeming to be) - catchy pop music, avant-garde fashion, a drive/work ethic to take over the world, etc. - and this doesn't really have any of it. Give them some time, this song came so out of left field. You can't expect people, even stans, to instantly be in favor of such immense changes.
By "polishing" the vocals, does it means using Autotune? Or any computer software to edit the voice??? Then NO! It was not necessary.
Gaga's voice is beautiful. She easily could have sang it in a more pleasant/sweet way, with all that rage she wanted the song to have still.. I can't listen the song in full volume (like other songs) because it kind of irritates. I do love the song tho, it grow on me a lot since the first listen (which was an awful experience)
Nah she's part of a group of 7 out of 10 people that I know that hated the song. The 3 people that liked the song were my bf, my also little monster brother and my 5 yo sister
Don't get yourself mistaken. Brazil is full of LMs but PI has not been play at all in radios here. The public doesn't even know she's got a song out
