I don't even think it's a RedOne thing. Gaga just seems to be waning in the songwriting/melody area. The song isn't astounding for me, but it isn't bad either. I can see the turn off. The pitchy vocals, the screaming of "perfect illusion" for literally the last 75% of the song. It's just a really uninspiring track. I've listened to it several times, so I know I'm somewhat enjoying it. But I also don't feel anything when it's over.
