Eh. Some of you need to really think about whether you actually do like Gaga or just the dance pop music she used to make. I don't say that lightly either. Many of you are throwing serious insults to her artistry and even her talent all because you're upset she didn't create some grandiose comeback that you had wet dreams about since the Oscar tribute. Put yourself in Gaga's shoes. If you were an artist, I'm pretty sure you want to have works of art that are different and separable from all your other collections of work. Perfect Illusion is just that. If you look back years from now, you can proudly say that your fave was experimental and brave for not sticking with one element and direction from all her years of creating art and music.
As much as I dont like the negativity, I dont like Monsters saying 'if Gaga wanted to smash she would', who on earth told you that she doesnt want to smash? She wants to and it is obvious, she just wants to smash with some kind of pride. PI wouldnt sound the ways it sounds if she didnt want to ATTEMPT to smash.

Bottom line is that this is a lesson for me too... I should not invest so much of my emotions in Gaga... For me her success means that a gay icon is finally getting its due recognition. I don't want her to be called a fad. I'm literally crying right now...

Saying the song is awesome when they knew right away they're going to drop the song the minute the deal is over? when they knew it isn't a dance song but a ****ing rock song... sadly there's not place for a ****ing rock song on the radio or the clubs right now, pure rock is dead.
