Ok so I need to just break down what I loveeeee about this song. Other than Gaga her vocals are, to me personally, heartfelt. But that's to each their own ofc.
- the guitar intro
- the deep gritty synth you hear in the first 30 seconds and after the first chorus
- the chimes in chorus 2
- The real (and you can hear it's a real drum set) thumps in the build up. If you listen to it loud with your speakers at home you can literally feel the drum pounding you body. I just love it so much, first it's a simple padabum-padabum but right before the key change it does the whole drum set thing, I dunno how they call it and I dunno why Im spastic about it but it's fire.
-The strings from the OOOOHHH and in the outro. I can hear God every time.
I wish they would've left the chimes out in the outro and let the strings shine (like more of a disco track) and more to make it less noisy and with that a clear outro feel/sound. And the drums towards the key change. If the key change is a climax I would have loved for the drums to be the introduction to it like a proper kick off, rip that thing apart. I hope they do that live tho.
Am I the only one that listens to layers of music that much and dissects it this way
To be fair, I didn't wanna say it before but this track feels still very safe to me I thought she'd go more rock in this.
