These meltdowns. I don't know if you guys know but it's not the norm for a song to shoot immediately to #1 and just stay there it's whole run. The song came out YESTERDAY. It was #1 for a long time and now it's #2 because of a massive hit that worked it's way up to #1 already.
This isn't the type of instant ear candy song that people are going to instantly eat up, it's a grower and it's going to be fine.
I honestly don't mind a drop in iTunes sales chart, AS LONG AS it remains stable or increases in Spotify streams because nowadays Spotify/AM/streaming is the gate into high iTunes chart ranking + song success. However, if she starts free falling on Spotify too, then it's RIP for PI and time for the original RedOne lead single to serve as the second single. The song NEEDS to impact radio sooner than Monday cause by Monday the song will be out of top 20 on iTunes in this rate.
