What I don't understand is how the critics were praising her operatic Oscar performances, national anthem, TIHTY, tributes etc etc...boasting her and egging her on only to be so ruthless when she gives them exactly what they wanted vocally. They always praise the heck out of growling and stuff but with Gaga they suddenly hate it now when they LOVED it only a few months ago? The media is so fickle and Gaga falls for their baiting all the time because they present it as a Perfect Illusion. Luckily since C2C I've seen a shift in her so I know that whatever backlash she may face this era, she will be strong enough to over come it and to not care about what the critics or charts have to say. As long as she is satisfied with her evolution and presents us with good enough material that's all that matters at the end.
um most critics loved the song aside 2 publications
Will this song serve focus and fourfivesecs teas won't be apart of LG5? She still doesn't reveal the name of LG5. She could release PI as a comeback promo single.
omeone on Reddit gave an amazing comment and I can totally see it:
"It's really excellent, but it needs time. The premise is she's just realised she's not actually in love. Her perception of this thing she's invested so much emotion into just disappeared, so she's desperate, she's angry, she's confused.
It shows in her (warped sounding) voice which kinda sounds like she's been crying, it shows in the repetition. The production is really solid, and the key change gives urgency and a "**** hit the fan" effect to the ending.
PSA: Give it more listens."

Um media praised PI except for a Britney stan from the Guardian and MTV who no one takes seriously. In fact a lot of people on their FB page dissed them for not appreciating the song.
I am sure as of now that PI will explode. The chorus is heaven.
