The comments on Facebook don't really tell us much though. Most people who comment on her site on Facebook are either fans or haters. The haters were always going to hate the new song while the fans are obviously divided since Perfect Illusion has a new sound. Fans usually want "more of the same". That's why most of them wanted her to work with RedOne again.

Ever since the announcement that Mark Ronson was going to be the main producer of the album, it's been obvious that LG5 will have a new sound. It's only natural that a new sound divides the fanbase.

I hate how bad the overall reaction to this song is I can't even drag Gagsy herself because she delivered with PI. But how come she, Bobby or Interscope executives didn't see that this is like a radio poison that will be dropped immediately

Like she is not about charts and blah blah but she's still on the big label that spend shitloads of money on promo for her.

I don't wanna even think about what's gonna happen next. The song will probably be dead by the end of September (and video won't help either) and what next? She will just wait until the album drops with no successful single to save the album?

not liking the song is totally fine, she's not gonna please everyone ofc, but when you keep talking about how much it's bad/terrible/tragic/garbage and saying that's it gonna "flopp!!!" and that the era is not starting good when it only started few hours ago and how Nadir was gonna help her or give her a smash etc.. yeah you're just being over-dramatic over nothing

anyways, I love the song and I think it's one of her best lead singles and songs in general (and I would still like it even if it was released by any other pop girl) and I respect your opinion on not liking it.
