Yeh it catchy as F.....but it gets annoying sooooo fast, like played 3 times and got and headache from all the screaming, and I loved Applause from 1st listen and still do..... sorry
The melody is bland and her shouty vocals aren't pleasant to listen to- she's changed her tone post-C2C but it's... not good. Applause was better. At least the instrumental is good. The genre and vibe make it seem like they were going for a Born This Way-sound pivot in the sense of how BTW differed from TFM but this is atrocious.
Maybe the backing track needs to be turned up. Like the vocals are everything but they're drowning out a lot of the production. Definitely better on the second listen but still not shook like G.U.Y. or Bad Romance.
