It's definitely not terrible or anything (I guess I can see myself enjoying it if it hits while my phone is shuffling or something). It just feels rather aimless. The song's length is so short, yet I can totally see it becoming particularly jarring for that very reason.

The key changes sort of saved it from being a drab, honestly. Not bombastic enough for a premiere single, and certainly not for a comeback premiere single.

OK I need to vent, better here than dragged in the single thread.

I love love love her vocals but she is serving Xtina with this continuous shooting. The reason instanned Gaga was her lyrics and unique production. There are literally like 8 lines and the rest is her shouting PERFECT ILLUSION.

Now Im not daying its a bad song it, but this is just very chorus heavy and not my tea.

I'm still perched for her because her album tracks are always my faves (Dance in the Dark, Heavy Metal Lover, Fashion!, Donatella, Money Honey). Yas drag my "taste"

Just sad I can't say "omg this is a genius lead"
