Of course we all would love her to smash no matter what, but I'm definitely not worried so much as I am about liking the music. The rock-chick image is the first time I've ever not immediately loved for something Gaga's done (even though I didn't like C2C music, I can still appreciate it's beautiful and it was such an interesting transition from ARTPOP to jazz with Tony goddamn Bennett).

I love theatrical and over the top Gaga too-- But also super excited to see her go through a reinvention with this single and perhaps entire album cycle.

Why would her album come out in February?

She herself said she is releasing a new album before 2016 ends, and Universal Music Group is expecting it to be out 2016 (she was added to upcoming 2016 releases in a label newsletter a few weeks ago).

We don't have any reason to believe 2017.

I'm still sticking with 11/11 for album release since it's a Friday and matches PI's release of 9/9.
